This position is physical therapy-in the home and functional fitness training with Senior clients, in the home. You may start patients during an episode of home health therapy and transition them to private pay functional fitness to build upon and maintain the gains made during skilled care. You may also get referrals directly for functional fitness training.

At Care In Home, our PTA's also serve as certified personal trainers to help transition from home Part A therapy to a regular exercise maintenance and fall prevention program. We help SENIORS get strong and mobile so they can continue to live at home safely for as long as possible. We work with senior support service providers, home health agencies and skilled nursing facilities in mutual referral relationships.

Our clients’ fitness levels can range from recently discharged from an acute or post-acute setting to healthy and active in the community (and don’t want to go to the local gym or rec center to exercise).

We pay self-employed PTA / personal trainers $38-$45 for each one-hour session an annual retention bonus. We can provide guidance regarding obtaining a free personal training certificate and how to operate as an independent contractor.

Associates or Bachelors degree in any subject is preferred. You will need to supply your own equipment and PPE. We can guide you in each step of the process.
