Home Care/Attendant Care Aide

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable
Home Care/Attendant Care Aide to assist clients with daily living activities in their homes. The Aide will provide personal care, light housekeeping, and companionship to support clients’ health, comfort, and independence under the supervision of a nurse or medical professional.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Help clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in the client’s health, behavior, or condition to supervising nurse or care manager.
• Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, dishes, and general tidying.
• Remind clients to take prescribed medications.
• Accompany clients to appointments or run errands as needed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to improve clients' quality of life.
• Follow care plans and document services provided accurately.
• Adhere to infection control and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred or required by state).
• Previous experience in home care, nursing, or related field is a plus.
• Ability to lift, move, or assist clients with mobility (may require up to 50 lbs).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (if travel is required).
• Must be able to pass a background check

Working Conditions:

• Work is performed in clients’ private homes.
• May involve exposure to various home environments and client conditions.
• Flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on client needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
