What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver position at Care Facility?
Residential Care Facility looking for an experienced caregiver who will provide routine daily nursing care to assigned residents.
- MUST have at least 6 months caregiving experience.
- Must have CPR certification upon hire. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
- Must have a negative Tb test and physical before scheduled.
Specific Job Requirements
- Patience, tact, a willingness to handle difficult residents.
- Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Knowledgeable of HIPAA privacy laws and maintain confidential information.
- Maintain a professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
- Shifts rotating weekends, 5-10am, 5am -1pm
Approx. 24-32 hours a week. At least 2 weekends a month.
Essential Functions
- Must be able to safely lift, turn, push, pull, reposition, and transport patients 50 lbs and over.
- Must be able to assist clients with ADLs: showers, personal grooming, feeding, and toileting, etc
- Prepare and serve meals as well as light housekeeping.
- Able to accurately document and chart client care.
- Take vital signs.
- Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards clients, staff, and family.
- Must be able to assist in the evacuation of patients if needed.
- Must demonstrate dependable and regular attendance.
- Must be able to concentrate and communicate.
- Bonuses for attendance, picking up additional shifts and staff appreciation.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
