Care Environmental Remediation Services, Inc. is an environmental consulting/remediation company located in Morris County, New Jersey. We are seeking a full time entry level environmental scientist to work with our staff of professionals in the field of environmental remediation focusing on underground storage tanks, contaminated soil and ground water remediation at various sites throughout New Jersey.
Job Description: Entry level - Recent College Graduate or up to 2 years experience. Candidate interested in gaining experience in the environmental consulting field. Job responsibilities will include both office and field work consisting of performing field activities pertaining to underground storage tank closures, soil investigations, remediations, ground water investigations and report writing. Other responsibilities will include providing field sampling support for environmental investigation and remediation activities, including the collection of water, and soil samples, management of sampling documentation, and maintenance of field sampling equipment.
Skills and Abilities: Excellent writing skills are beneficial to this position as well as organization, computer skills and verbal communication. Candidate will have the ability to work in office and field environments of various climates. Field activities require physical labor and operating pick-up trucks. Proficient in Microsoft office. Knowledge of ArcGIS a plus.
Qualifications: Qualified candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in environmental science or geology or related field. Qualified candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and acceptable driver's license. Transportation to and from projects is provided by the company, no overnight travel required. 40 hour HAZWOPER Health and Safety Training is a plus!
