What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Receptionist position at Care Dental?
We’re looking for a highly energetic, people-oriented Dental Receptionist to join our growing practice—someone who’s just as comfortable building relationships as they are keeping things organized behind the scenes.
This role goes beyond traditional front desk duties. You’ll act as a Patient Coordinator, working closely with the doctor and clinical team to guide patients through their treatment—from the first conversation to scheduling and case acceptance.
If you have a background in sales, love talking to people, and know how to build trust and communicate value, you’ll do very well in this position.
What you’ll be doing:
- Connecting with patients who need treatment and helping them understand their options
- Presenting treatment plans clearly and confidently
- Following up with unscheduled treatment and keeping the schedule productive
- Coordinating surgeries and managing doctor schedules
- Acting as a key point of contact between patients and the clinical team
- Creating a positive, welcoming experience from the moment patients walk in
What we’re looking for:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (this is a must)
- Background in sales, customer service, or treatment coordination
- High energy, positive attitude, and confidence speaking with patients
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Someone who takes initiative and enjoys being part of a team
- Dental experience is a plus, but personality and communication skills matter most
