Job Types: Pharmacy Tech, Full Time M-F 9.30 to 5.30,( MUST- HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION).Experience and Spanish speaking (Plus)
SUMMARY
Assists Pharmacist for all the duties along with filling prescriptions accurately, controlling inventory (ordering , returning ) also take care of all the customers come to the pharmacy for their medicine. Answering phone calls. Must Keep clean work surrounding and Pharmacy include taking out waste and garbage on regular basis . We will give you training if you do not have Pharmacy Tech experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assists Pharmacist in filling prescriptions
- Order, Receives and stores incoming supplies
- Counts stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
- Bills insurances, understands Medicare if necessary.
- Translates prescription into the computer system for pharmacist approval
- Inputs prescription orders accurately and in a timely manner according to established departmental guidelines
- Assists in completing and updating medication profiles for patients
- Maintains complete and accurate dispensing or other required records of activity
- Contacts physician offices for refills of continued prescriptions where permitted by state Pharmacy regulations.
- Builds and maintains positive relationships with customers including physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and vendors
- Complies with all HIPPA laws and regulations
- Keeps up to date with new medications and prescription changes
- Keep working towards or holds a pharmacy technician certification
- other responsibilities and duties : welcoming each patient / answer phone calls/ help each customers and patient to get them what their needs are/ learn each and every task in pharmacy/ keep clean and friendly environment inside pharmacy

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
