Location: Medford, Oregon
Pay: $33.91–$46.63 per hour, based on qualifications and experience
Schedule: Eight- or ten-hour shifts | Day/second-shift availability
Employment Type: Direct Hire | Permanent Position

Shift Differentials
Additional compensation is available for qualifying hours:

Evening differential: Additional $1.96 per hour for hours worked between 3:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.
Night differential: Additional $4.25 per hour for hours worked between 11:01 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.
Weekend differential: Additional $1.82 per hour for weekend hours

Position Summary

A hospital-based radiology department in Medford, Oregon, is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to join its imaging team. The technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures for patients ranging from infants through geriatric populations in inpatient, outpatient, emergency, surgical, and portable-care settings.

This position is best suited for a confident, adaptable technologist who can work independently, manage a fast-paced workload, and consistently produce high-quality diagnostic images.

Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations according to physician orders and department protocols.
Provide imaging services for emergency department, inpatient, outpatient, and surgical patients.
Perform fluoroscopic procedures.
Complete portable radiographic examinations throughout the hospital.
Provide imaging support in operating-room environments.
Position patients appropriately while maintaining safety, comfort, and image quality.
Work effectively with patients across the lifespan, including infants, children, adults, and geriatric patients.
Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain accurate patient and procedure documentation in the electronic medical record.
Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other members of the clinical team.
Follow radiation-safety, infection-control, and departmental quality standards.

Requirements

Active ARRT certification in Radiography — ARRT(R).
Active or eligible Oregon Board of Medical Imaging license — OBMI.
Current Basic Life Support certification — BLS.
Minimum of three years of professional radiologic technologist experience.
Experience performing fluoroscopy, portable examinations, emergency imaging, inpatient imaging, outpatient imaging, and operating-room procedures.
Ability to work eight- or ten-hour shifts.
Ability to work efficiently and independently in a high-volume hospital environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience working in a large acute-care hospital.
Experience providing imaging services within a busy emergency department.
Experience with pediatric through geriatric patient populations.
Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records and Fuji Synapse PACS.
Experience operating Siemens radiography and fluoroscopy equipment.
Experience with OEC C-arms, Medtronic O-arms, GE portable units, and Fuji portable units.
Strong patient-positioning and image-quality skills.
Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working with limited supervision.

Department and Facility Information

Hospital-based radiology department.
Approximately 370-bed acute-care hospital.
Approximately 30-bed emergency department.
Imaging resources include three diagnostic X-ray rooms, two fluoroscopy rooms, portable imaging equipment, C-arms, and O-arm technology.
Hospital-provided scrubs are required.
