Licensed Clinical Social Worker / Licensed Marriage and Family TherapistLocation: San Quentin, CAPay: $74–$78/hour, based on license and local/travel statusSchedule: Full-time contractCare Career is seeking an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for a full-time contract opportunity in a correctional healthcare setting in San Quentin, CA.This role provides mental health services to adult patients in a secure facility setting. The clinician will complete assessments, treatment planning, crisis intervention, documentation, and ongoing clinical support as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.Responsibilities:* Provide clinical assessments and mental health services to assigned patients* Complete treatment plans, progress notes, and required documentation* Provide crisis intervention and suicide risk assessments as needed* Support patients with serious mental illness, trauma, substance use history, and other behavioral health needs* Communicate with medical, mental health, and custody teams* Maintain professional boundaries and follow all facility policies and proceduresRequirements:* Active California LCSW or LMFT license* Minimum 12 months of recent clinical experience preferred* BLS certification preferred or required by facility* Ability to work in a correctional/secure healthcare environment* Must be able to complete required onboarding, background clearance, and facility compliance requirements* Strong documentation, communication, and crisis intervention skillsPreferred Experience:* Correctional healthcare* Community mental health* Crisis intervention* Substance use or co-occurring disorders* Serious mental illness or high-acuity behavioral health settingsCompensation:This position pays $74–$78/hour based on license type, experience, and local/travel status.Care Career partners with healthcare facilities to connect qualified clinicians with meaningful contract opportunities.
