Job Title: Anesthesia Technician
- Shift: 5x8 Days/Evenings (12:00 PM – 8:30 PM)
- Hours: 40 hrs/week
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Float: May float to Endoscopy, OB, and EP units
- Call: Not required
- Start Date: January 2026 (exact date based on onboarding)
Position Summary
The Anesthesia Technician is responsible for supporting anesthesia services in the OR and procedural areas. Key responsibilities include equipment setup and troubleshooting, patient transport, assisting providers during critical situations, medication preparation support, and room turnover. Experience working in a variety of surgical specialties is preferred.
Minimum Requirements
- 1 year recent Anesthesia Tech experience required
- BLS certification required
- Experience assisting with anesthesia equipment, OR safety standards, and intraoperative support
- Willingness to float within scope
Additional Details
- Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
- Position accepts first-time travelers
- Previous charge experience preferred
- Local candidates within 60 miles accepted at a lower rate
- Must have MD or Compact license at time of submission
- Two recent supervisor references required
Scheduling & Compliance
- RTO must be submitted with profile; no changes allowed after submission
- Maximum of 7 days RTO per 13-week contract preferred
- No RTO allowed in first 2 weeks
- Guaranteed hours: 40 hours/week
