Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized in-home care tailored to each client’s unique needs, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes or concerns promptly to family members or healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications accurately and on schedule, following prescribed plans and safety protocols.
- Support clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks as needed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to foster positive relationships and reduce feelings of isolation.
- Follow all safety guidelines and care plans diligently to ensure the well-being of clients at all times.
Experience
- Prior experience working as an in-home caregiver or in a similar personal care role is preferred.
- Experience with geriatrics or post-acute care enhances your ability to meet diverse client needs effectively.
