Job Summary
Care at Home of Delaware (CAHDE) seeks a highly organized and motivated individual to join our growing team as an HR & Compliance Specialist. Care at Home of Delaware (CAHDE) is a personal assistance service agency servicing Medicaid/Medicare elderly and disabled populations in New Castle County and Kent County. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting human resources operations, managing compliance requirements, maintaining employee and client files, and ensuring the agency remains audit-ready. This role provides essential administrative, benefits, training, and documentation support to the leadership team.
Duties
Support open enrollment and benefit administration.
Prepare and distribute service letters.
Process insurance updates, status changes, and garnishment notices.
Respond to unemployment claims.
Track and follow up on annual caregiver trainings including attestations, evaluations, and TB testing.
Maintain compliance tracking spreadsheets.
Create, maintain, and audit employee and client files.
Scan, upload, and correctly label HR documentation.
Maintain the missing files spreadsheet and correct deficiencies.
Assist with processing terminations and separation documentation.
Route HR emails and inquiries professionally.
Support disciplinary documentation preparation.
-Ad hoc projects as discussed.
Skills
-Bachelor's degree in human resources, healthcare administration, business administration, or related field required.
-Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
Professional and clear communication skills.
Ability to follow established workflows and procedures.
Comfortable handling confidential employee information.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
HR, compliance, and/or medical office experience required.
Reliable, consistent, and able to handle repetitive administrative tasks.
-Proficiency with HRIS platforms such as Paychex.
Pay: $ $28.00 per hour
