Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide exceptional support and care to individuals in various care settings. Duties
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote independence and comfort
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs
- Maintain cleanliness of residents’ living areas through regular cleaning and sanitation practices
- Follow individualized care plans developed by healthcare professionals to deliver consistent, quality care
- Document all care activities thoroughly in accordance with policies and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to recognize changes in condition promptly
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is required
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely
- Strong communication skills for engaging with residents, families, and healthcare team members
- Demonstrated understanding of resident’s rights and confidentiality standards under HIPAA regulations
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
