Attentive Angels Home Care is a full-service, non-medical, home care agency based in Columbia, South Carolina. The company offers in-home care services to seniors, individuals with cognitive disabilities, and those recovering from surgery. The company was founded and privately operated by registered nurse Davette Brown, who emphasizes dignity, respect, and holistic support through thoroughly screened Certified Nurse Aides and Personal Care Assistants. The company serves Richland, Lexington, Fairfield, Sumter, Kershaw, Clarendon, and surrounding counties.

The Job:

Our Community Liaison team is the revenue engine for the organization. Driven, hard-working, yet part of a tight-knit group of supportive peers, who enjoy spirited competition yet work collaboratively to earn a collective goal across our footprint.

This position would cover the Lexington, Ridgeland, Orangeburg, West Columbia market as well as some of the surrounding areas.

As a valued member of the 25-strong team, you will:

  • Call on hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities and continuing-care campuses, to connect with Social Workers, discharge planners, case managers and administrative staff, to promote the sale of designated service lines.
  • Provide strategic solutions, explain our programs, our readiness, and our differentiators, to earn trust and respect in a competitive landscape, but one where we already fare extremely well.
  • Create solid weekly plans, set up meetings with case management and leadership, among others, to further reiterate our abilities and strengths.
  • Collaborate well with branch or centralized operational teams, clinical staff, and internal sales team members to ensure an exceptional early consumer experience and efficient and effective delivery of care.
  • Utilize the array of tools provided, to promote our good name in the market

The competencies:

  • You should be hungry to win, highly organized, compassionate, client-centered, and a true team player.
  • Having the ability to prepare and plan your week, with autonomy and strategy top of mind, is key.
  • Have previous experience driving growth in the healthcare field as part of a sales or community relations team
  • Previous sales/community relations experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care facility strongly preferred
  • Previous experience with client acquisitions preferred.
  • Working with other disciplines in an effective way will ensure success.
  • Driving should be something you enjoy, along with being 100% field based. Capturing competitive landscape share should be your passion in life!
  • Demonstrated sense of accountability, and communication skills that surpass most.
  • Time management, effective responsiveness, a positive attitude, and solution-oriented, are some of the attributes we seek.

The formal requirements are few, but mainly we ask for a rock-solid sales background on a similar platform. Hospice, home care, home health, Assisted Living, etc., are all usually well-aligned historically, but come to us with the ability to SELL, and sell well, and we can talk.
