Dental Treatment/Insurance Coordinator
We are seeking an experienced, highly knowledgeable Dental Administrator tssks to join our high-end, multi-specialty dental practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented, dependable, and self-motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to providing exceptional support to both patients and the dental team. A background working with patients as a treatment/ Hygiene coordinator, scheduling and phones as well as utilize third party programs such as Dental Intel, Overjet, Google Drive.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting with dental and medical insurance billing
- Interpreting EOBs and processing insurance payments and adjustments
- Following up on outstanding insurance claims and appeals
- Communicating effectively with insurance companies, patients, and team members regarding benefits and coverage
- Printing and reviewing aging reports
- Sending patient statements and maintaining accurate account records
- Ensuring timely and accurate payment posting
- Patient interaction processing walkout services, reviewing treatment recommendations with patients, scheduling, discussing and collecting finances due
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 years of dental insurance experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of dental insurance plans, benefits, and claim processing
- Experience with Eaglesoft Practice Management Software required
- Thorough understanding of CDT coding and dental terminology
- Experience with medical billing and cross-coding preferred
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Comfortable with patients as a coordinator reviewing financials and scheduling appointments while following practice protocols
