Child Care Director

With a beautiful location and bustling days the ChildCare Director should have experience managing a larger staff. Our program celebrates differences and focuses on building relationships between children and teachers. Child Care Director candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Ed or related field, or a NYS Children's Program Administrator Credential. Essential Job Functions:

• The Child Care Director must manage day to day operations with positive and effective leadership
• The Child Care Director must create team building opportunities
• The Child Care Director must multitask and prioritize tasks in a busy environment
• The Child Care Director must be Proficient in Microsoft word, excel and be willing to learn new computer programs
• The Child Care Director must display flexibility to “jump in” to classrooms as needed
• The Child Care Director is responsible for complying with OCFS, Department of Health regulations, and Building and Fire Codes
• The Child Care Director manages teacher and child schedules and maintains OCFS ratios
• The Child Care Director displays kind, caring, and respectful parent interactions with our valued families and prospective students.
• The Child Care Director has experience in Child Care and/or Education
• The Child Care Director should be comfortable mentoring teachers
• The Child Care Director must be able to stay calm in emergency situations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $46,153.82 - $60,000.00 per year
