We are seeking a reliable and experienced Contracted Registered Nurse (RN) to perform in-home client assessments for a non-skilled home care agency. The RN will evaluate client needs, develop care plans, and ensure services are appropriate, safe, and compliant with state regulations. This is a 1099 independent contractor position, offering flexible scheduling and per-visit compensation. Key Responsibilities Conduct initial in-home assessments for new clients Develop and complete personalized care plans Evaluate client condition, safety risks, and service needs Perform supervisory visits for caregivers (PCA/CNA) as required Complete reassessments (every 60–90 days or as needed) Ensure compliance with state home care regulations Communicate findings with agency management Maintain accurate and timely documentation Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina Minimum 1–2 years nursing experience (home care preferred) Strong assessment and documentation skills Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license Ability to work independently Current CPR certification (preferred) Compensation Per visit rate: $65 – $75 per assessment (based on experience) Schedule Flexible, based on referrals and client needs Part-time / as-needed basis Work Environment Client homes within designated service areas Travel required Contractor Status This is a 1099 independent contractor role, not an employee position. The RN is responsible for managing their schedule, taxes, and maintaining required credentials.
