Position Overview
The Senior Manager, Finance & Accounting will lead the company’s accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis functions. This role will play a critical part in building scalable financial processes and delivering actionable insights that support operational and strategic decision-making.
The ideal candidate combines strong accounting fundamentals with analytical capability, operational curiosity, and a builder mentality.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Controls
- Own monthly close process, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements
- Oversee inventory accounting, cost of goods sold, sales tax, and consignment complexities
- Implement and improve internal controls and approval workflows
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax, and audit requirements
- Maintain accounting policies and financial documentation
- Partner with external tax advisors and auditors
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Build and maintain budgets, forecasts, and cash flow models
- Analyze business performance drivers across revenue channels including:
- Retail stores
- Ecommerce
- Live breaks
- Shows/events
- Sponsorships
- Digital subscriptions
- Develop dashboards and KPIs for leadership visibility
- Conduct ROI and profitability analysis
- Support strategic modeling for expansion opportunities and new initiatives
Operational & Strategic Support
- Partner cross-functionally with operations, merchandising, ecommerce, marketing, and leadership
- Improve systems, workflows, and reporting processes
- Help establish scalable financial infrastructure for growth
- Support lender, investor, and audit-related financial requests
Qualifications
Required
- 5 years of progressive accounting and finance experience
- Strong GAAP accounting knowledge
- Experience leading monthly close and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
- Experience in inventory-intensive or retail-oriented businesses
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred
- CPA preferred
- Retail, ecommerce, or consumer products industry experience
- Experience with QuickBooks, Shopify, and inventory systems
- Experience in high-growth or entrepreneurial environments

Pay: $90,099.32 - $120,033.59 per year
