We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Retail Assistant Manager to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer issues or complaints.
- Supervise and train staff on company policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Conduct employee orientation and onboarding for new hires.
- Participate in recruiting efforts, including interviewing potential candidates.
- Manage inventory control processes to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accurate bookkeeping practices.
- Collaborate with the store manager on merchandising strategies and promotional activities.
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve sales goals.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures regarding payroll and budgeting.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail management or as an assistant manager is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Proficient in retail math, inventory management, and POS systems.
- Experience with cashiering, pricing, merchandising, and stocking procedures.
- Strong organizational skills with effective time management capabilities.
- Ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of marketing strategies relevant to retail sales is advantageous.
