Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to meet their needs with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure merchandise is neat, accessible, and well-maintained throughout the store
- Answer customer inquiries via phone or in person with clear communication and friendly phone etiquette
- Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels, assisting with stocking routines, and participating in periodic stock counts
- Some light cleaning
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math calculations
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers confidently
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory tasks
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and proactive approach
- Must be 18 or older and willing to work late alone.
