Job Responsibilities
- Monitor and record vital signs accurately, reporting any abnormalities to nursing staff promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in resident rooms and common areas to promote a safe environment.
- Support infection control measures by adhering to hygiene practices and using personal protective equipment appropriately.
- Utilize basic computer skills to document resident information and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
- Respond promptly to resident needs and requests, ensuring a high level of comfort and satisfaction.
- Understanding of infection control principles and practices.
- Basic computer literacy to manage electronic health records and communication tools.
- Previous experience working in a healthcare or long-term care facility.
- Additional training in infection prevention and control.
- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
