Job Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Supervise and evaluate nursing staff performance, providing guidance, training, and support to promote professional growth and high-quality care.
- Coordinate resident care activities and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize resident outcomes.
- Manage nursing budgets, staffing schedules, and resource allocation to maintain operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and participate in audits and inspections to uphold resident safety and care excellence.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the state of Indiana.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong knowledge of nursing education, resident care standards, and healthcare regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
- Experience working in long-term care.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and healthcare quality improvement methodologies.
- Demonstrated success in staff development and interdisciplinary team leadership.
