Job Responsibilities
Specific duties for this Assistant Dietary Manager position include:
The Assistant Dietary Manager assists the Dining Services Manager (DSM) in ensuring that nourishing, palatable, and well-balanced meals are prepared and served to meet the daily nutritional and special dining needs of each resident, consistent with accepted nutritional standards and regulatory requirements.
Assistant Dietary Manager (healthcare/dietary/dining services)
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, CREDENTIALS: : Indiana certification as a Certified Dining Manager, or willingness and ability to obtain within six (6) months of employment, and a minimum of two (2) years' experience working in the kitchen of a long-term care facility or health-care setting. Cooking/Culinary experience is required.
Cooking/Culinary experience is required. Must hold Serv-Safe Certification.
