CCP specializes in providing comprehensive cardiology care and currently has over 30 locations throughout the Philadelphia region. We are currently hiring for a full-time Patient Access Representative to work at our new Wilmington, DE office. Please note that this will require traveling to other offices in Chester County until training is complete.
Please note that this role is entitled to a $500.00 sign-on bonus.*
Responsibilities:
- Schedule tests and follow-up appointments as patients leave the office
- Review instructions for studies scheduled with patients
- Enter charges as the patient is leaving, as well as during downtime
- Call patients to confirm appointments
- Receive, greet, and direct patients
- Verify demographics, insurance, and PCP information at time of check-in
- Collect co-pays
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must have experience in a medical office setting
- Must have knowledge of different insurance plans
- Must have the ability to multitask
- Computer knowledge is a must
- Experience with an EMR system is a plus
- Must be well-spoken, friendly, and outgoing
