- Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment and PET scanners.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations by capturing high-quality images, ensuring optimal positioning and image clarity.
- Monitor patients throughout procedures, providing comfort and clear instructions to ensure cooperation and safety.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, doses administered, and patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Perform routine quality control checks on imaging equipment to ensure consistent performance and safety.
Requirements
- Proven experience with nuclear medicine techniques of general medical imaging.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to accurately interpret images and assist in diagnostic evaluation.
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques to prevent contamination during procedures involving radiopharmaceuticals.
- Ability to operate complex imaging equipment efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining procedures to patients and collaborating with healthcare professionals.
- Certification or licensure as a Nuclear Medical Technician required by local regulatory bodies.
