Cardiovascular Consultants of South GA is a growing cardiology group serving Southwest Georgia. Our Thomasville location is seeking a qualified Full Time Prior Authorization Specialist.
As a Prior Authorization Specialist with clinical Medical Assistant knowledge, you will be the liaison between our patients, providers and insurance companies regarding prescribed medications. Your main responsibility will be to navigate the prior authorization process efficiently and effectively, advocating for our patients at all times. Candidate must be a highly motivated and hardworking team player who is committed to providing excellent patient care. This position will require strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Excellent communications skills are essential along with the ability to remain focused while managing a high-volume, time-sensitive workload.

- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of one-year experience in a hospital or medical office setting.
- Experience with prior authorization preferred.
