What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vascular Sonographer/Technologist position at Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeons?
- The VL /Vascular/Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer must have the ability to perform routine vascular pre and post op surgery ultrasound exams including: Venous Doppler, Venous Insufficiency, Arterial Duplex, ABI, Carotid, Aorta, Renal Doppler, Mesenteric Doppler, Bypass grafts, Vein Mapping, Hemodialysis AVF and Research studies.
- Our VL /Vascular/Ultrasound Technologists/Sonographers assist providers in ultrasound-guided procedures and perform portable studies as needed.
- The ideal candidate is able to review findings with providers and answer questions.
- Candidates must be certified as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) by a testing agency recognized by IAC. However, CTVS is willing to train the right new graduate candidate.
- Travel to Georgetown and Kyle locations when needed.
