From real estate and advanced imaging to clinical workflows and data infrastructure, CardioOne delivers a fully integrated platform designed to drive growth, efficiency, and superior patient outcomes.

Backed by WindRose Health Investors and leading healthcare executives, CardioOne is building one of the most sophisticated and scalable cardiology MSOs in the country - designed to reimagine what is possible for independent cardiology.

About the Job

CardioOne is seeking a highly experienced and execution-oriented leader to drive the development and launch of de novo cardiology operations, advanced imaging, and ambulatory surgery center (ASC) sites across the platform. This role owns the full lifecycle of real estate development and clinical infrastructure implementation - from early-stage physician engagement, site selection, and lease negotiation through design, construction, regulatory approval, and go-live.

The Director of Ancillary Services Implementation and Operations will operate as a central integrator across clinical, operational, financial, and regulatory workstreams, ensuring new sites are delivered on time, on budget, and fully operational. This individual will play a key role in structuring and supporting lease negotiations, aligning real estate strategy with clinical and financial objectives, and driving outcomes across a complex stakeholder environment.

This role requires a highly adaptable operator who thrives in ambiguity, brings strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities, and can build structure, process, and repeatability in a fast-scaling environment. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role to the Vice President of Implementation and partnering closely with executive leadership across growth, operations, and finance.

Key Responsibilities:

De Novo Development & Real Estate Execution

  • Lead site selection, market evaluation, and overall real estate strategy, including structuring and negotiating leases and supporting physician-led property acquisitions across cardiology, imaging, and ASC locations
  • Manage the full development lifecycle including feasibility, test fits, design development, permitting, and construction
  • Oversee architects, engineers, general contractors, and vendors to ensure alignment with budget, schedule, and program requirements
  • Develop and manage project budgets and coordinate capital planning and deployment
  • Lead brokerage strategy, including selection, vetting, and engagement of broker partners; manage performance and alignment throughout site sourcing, market analysis, and transaction execution
  • Coordinate closely with brokers and internal stakeholders to drive competitive site sourcing, negotiation strategy, and deal execution

Advanced Imaging Platform Development

  • Lead development and deployment of advanced imaging capabilities, including PET/CT and SPECT programs
  • Coordinate equipment planning, site readiness, and vendor integration across modalities
  • Establish standardized space programming and infrastructure requirements to support scalable growth
  • Own and optimize strategic vendor relationships across imaging equipment, radiopharmaceuticals, medical physics, bio-med, accreditation support partners, external reading partners, and group purchasing organizations (GPOs)

Regulatory, Licensing & Accreditation

  • Drive regulatory strategy and execution across state and federal frameworks, including RAM licensing and radiation safety compliance
  • Partner with medical physicists, RSOs, and regulatory bodies to ensure licensing and operational readiness
  • Support accreditation efforts, including RadSite, surgery center accreditation, and other quality standards alongside partners and/or consultants
  • Ensure all sites are supported in meeting required safety, compliance, and operational standards prior to launch

Cross-Functional Implementation & Operations

  • Serve as the primary project lead and accountable owner of site delivery across operations, credentialing, revenue cycle, and clinical leadership; drive accountability to schedules and deliverables, and proactively identify and escalate risks and delays to internal teams and executive leadership
  • Build and manage integrated project plans to ensure cross-functional alignment, clear sequencing, and on-time execution
  • Act as a primary liaison between physician partners and CardioOne throughout development and onboarding
  • Identify, prioritize, and resolve risks impacting timelines, budgets, and operational readiness
  • Drive decision-making and maintain project momentum

Physician Partnership & Growth Support

  • Serve as a trusted partner to physicians throughout development, advising on expansion strategy, site selection, and facility planning
  • Act as the primary point of contact for physician partners during development and onboarding, ensuring alignment, communication, and a seamless onboarding experience
  • Support onboarding of new physician groups through real estate and infrastructure execution
  • Collaborate with growth and leadership teams to inform market entry strategy and expansion initiatives

Process Development & Standardization

  • Develop and refine scalable playbooks, tools, and templates for development, ancillary operations, advanced imaging, and ASC implementation
  • Standardize processes across site selection, design, budgeting, compliance, and execution
  • Contribute to building infrastructure to support long-term platform scalability

Qualifications

  • 8 years of experience in healthcare operations, real estate development, outpatient facility development, or related environments
  • Proven experience leading end-to-end development projects from site selection through construction and operational launch
  • Experience with imaging modalities (e.g., PET/CT, SPECT, MRI, CT) strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulatory environments, including licensing, accreditation, and compliance frameworks
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, capital planning, and coordination with financing partners
  • Prior experience in high-growth or platform-based healthcare organizations strongly preferred

What Success Looks Like

  • New sites are delivered on schedule, on budget, and fully operational at launch
  • Imaging programs are implemented with strong clinical, operational, and regulatory foundations
  • Physician partners experience a seamless development and onboarding process
  • Scalable processes and infrastructure are established to support continued platform growth
