Clinical Research Nurse
Responsibilities:
- Patient Care & Safety: Provide expert nursing care to patients enrolled in clinical trials pre-procedure preparation, intra-procedure monitoring, and post-procedure. Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and study-specific guidelines.
- Protocol Adherence: Execute research protocols accurately and efficiently, including patient screening, informed consent, procedural assistance, study follow up and data collection.
- Data Management: Maintain meticulous and accurate documentation of all research activities, including case report forms (CRFs), electronic data capture (EDC) systems, and source documents.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, research coordinators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless trial execution and patient continuity of care.
- Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all regulatory requirements, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, and institutional policies related to human subject research.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about study procedures, follow-up care, and benefits in a clear and compassionate manner.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in AR.
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Cath Lab.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Prior experience in clinical research preferred but not required. We are willing to train a motivated and eager candidate!
- Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and interventional cardiology procedures.
- Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and computer systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 years in clinic, hospital, cath lab or research setting in the field of cardiology
Preferred Qualifications:
- LPN or RN
- 2 years of practice experience in a cardiac cath lab
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
