Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Cardiac Sonographer. The Cardiac Sonographer will be responsible for performing non-invasive cardiac ultrasound procedures, including echocardiograms and Stress Echocardiograms, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac conditions. The role requires maintaining detailed patient records, preparing preliminary reports, collaborating with cardiologists and other medical professionals, and ensuring equipment is properly maintained. This position is located in Chevy Chase, MD.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Cardiology and Non-invasive Cardiology
- Certification with the RCS or RDCS
- Strong understanding of Medicine, particularly in relation to cardiac care
- Proficiency with using and maintaining ultrasound equipment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to accurately document patient information
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field is preferred
