As a Clinical Medical Assistant you will support the doctor, our team and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, patient education and communication. Your primary goal and objective is to successfully complete all clinical and patient engagement activities accurately, with the highest level of quality efforts and extraordinary compassionate patient care.
In this position your responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Interviewing patients about health and habits
- Taking histories / Measuring vital signs / Recording information in an EMR System
- Preparing treatment rooms for examination of patients
- Preparing and assisting with testing, minor procedures and patient care.
- Completing necessary paperwork and obtaining authorizations for tests
- Calling insurance companies to obtain information about benefits
- Educating patients and assisting with patient inquiries regarding instructions, medications and pre/post-operative treatment
- Ensure treatment rooms are clean and in the proper condition for patient visits
- Answer general patient questions / Improving patient care on a daily basis.
- Promote teamwork through mutual respect for fellow staff members, developing positive inter and intra-departmental relationships with co-workers

Job Type: Full time about 35 /- hours a week

Schedule:
- about 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed (1 x mth)
Salary: From $16.50 per hour
