Shift: Monday - Thursday 2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.; Friday 12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Shift Differential: $1.00 per worked hour
Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepare items for shipment. Duties include assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or material; receiving, unpacking, verifying and recording incoming merchandise or material; and arranging for the transportation of products.

Essential Functions:
- Examine contents and compare with records, such as invoices, or orders to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipment.
- Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route materials.
- Determine shipping method for materials, using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes and rates.
- Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies.
- Organize raw materials, label and store.
- Count inventory items.
- Assist with data-entry of inventory levels.
- Cooperatively work as a member of a team.
- Meet weekly production standards set by Cardinal CG management.

Qualifications:
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Two years' work experience in a related field preferred
- Knowledge of common hand/power tools
- Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
- Ability to exhibit a cheerful demeanor toward others
- Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions
- Ability to effectively communicate with various audiences using the spoken word
- Ability to make decisions or take actions to solve a problem or reach a goal

Environmental Conditions:
Primary job duties are indoors. Position is exposed to loud noises on occasion. Employees are occasionally exposed to potential hazards. It is a busy, self-motivated and request-driven environment.
The Shipping Technician role is a safety sensitive position. This role will be temp to hire; based on performance, not quota.
Targeted total annual compensation:
Pay: Starting at $20.00 per hour
- Swing Shift: $1 per hour shift differential
Swing Shift [40 hours/week]:$21.00/hour starting (up to) 52% of gross monthly earnings for full-time team members =$66,393.60*
