Cardinal Glass in Easton, PA has an immediate full time opening for a Maintenance Manager. This position oversees the day-to-day maintenance and repair of the equipment, machinery and facility.
Job Duties:
- Lead all maintenance activities including preventative maintenance and emergency repairs
- Hire, train, supervise and evaluate maintenance team members
- Develop and manage maintenance budgets, track expenses and order necessary parts and supplies
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure adherence to all relevant health, safety and legal regulations
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records
- Design and plan specialty maintenance projects
- Conduct yourself in a professional manner with co-workers and contract vendors
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in maintenance, with management experience a plus
- Effective problem solving and organizational skills
- Ability to operate and use hand tools, power tools and measuring instruments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic knowledge of computer software, including Windows, Word and Excel
- Advanced electrical troubleshooting and safety practices including 3 phase
- Read, write and understand standard and metric measurement units
- Proficiency with mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic concepts
- Ability to read electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics and diagrams
- Knowledge in fabrication, welding and basic machining skills
