In your role as a Transportation Supervisor, you will execute the daily operations of a full-service luxury ground transportation company. You will be responsible for supervising the driver team with a focus on excellent customer service and adherence to Cardinal Transportation, LTD values. You will serve as the secondary line for phones and emails to provide quotes for service and respond to changes in scheduled trips so that customer needs are exceeded. You will foster a culture of respect, cooperation, and open communication by modeling appropriate behaviors. Works evenings and weekends
Responsibilities:
75%:
- Direct overall operation of business to ensure exceptional customer service
- Responds to email, answers phones, coach’s drivers and office personnel, distributes pertinent information to staff
- Supervise livery services
- Including quoting prices bus and sedan trips for potential clients, booking quoted trips, scheduling drivers for booked trips
- Maintain contact with drivers to ensure client transportation needs are met on time
- Manages performance and development of assigned drivers including quarterly/annual reviews; corrective actions; performance improvement
15%:
- Supervises dispatch desk and customer service representatives to ensure efficient and professional customer service
- Develops and trains for superior customer service skills
- Supervises lot attendant – moves buses and cars, coordinates vehicle prep for scheduled runs, inspects vehicles for readiness
- Evaluates and implements process improvements for greater efficiency
5%:
- Coach’s office staff on procedures such as phone/email etiquette and quoting prices for local and over-the-road trips
- Proactively seeks opportunities to streamline operations to be more efficient
- Resolves customer issues
5%:
- Drives bus and/or sedan trips as necessary to ensure great customer service
- Other duties as assigned by President, General Manager and Operations Manager/Manager

Required qualifications:
- Must be 25 years of age
- Class B – CDL with passenger endorsement
- 2 years supervisory experience
- 2 years in customer service-related work
- Able to read map and/or use GPS system
- Good driving record
- Pass a Drug Test
- Pass a DOT physical
Desired qualifications:
- 1-year professional driver experience
- 3 years customer service experience
- Experience using apps for business
- Familiarity with central Ohio region
