Job Description
A manufacturer of light-weight automotive components is seeking a reliable and motivated Secondary Expander Operator. In this role, you will operate and monitor production equipment to ensure products meet quality standards while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
All three shifts available, with training on 1st and/or 2nd shift required for 3rd shift.

Job Description
A manufacturer of light-weight automotive components is seeking a reliable and motivated Secondary Expander Operator. In this role, you will operate and monitor production equipment to ensure products meet quality standards while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
All three shifts available, with training on 1st and/or 2nd shift required for 3rd shift.
What You'll Do
- Set up and operate Secondary Expander production equipment.
- Monitor production processes and adjust machine settings to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Inspect product quality and bulk density, making process adjustments as needed.
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and keep work areas clean and organized.
- Complete production reports and maintain accurate documentation.
- Assist material handlers and support production operations as needed.
- Cross-train in other production areas to support team flexibility.
- Follow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret basic production data and work instructions.
- Experience using precision measuring tools is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn multiple production processes.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, pull, and twist throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
