Cardinal Services is currently accepting applications for Direct Support Professionals to work at our residential locations in Warsaw, Plymouth, Silver Lake, Bremen, Rochester, and Logansport. Under the direction of the Residential or Community Living Manager, a Direct Support Professional ensures all the needs are met for the individuals with developmental disabilities receiving supports.
Job duties include but are not limited to: Assisting individuals with their daily living skills such as budgeting, cooking, and personal hygiene; Supporting individuals so they can enjoy activities both in their home and in the community; Implementing and documenting program plans.
Candidates that are qualified for this position are motivated by making a difference in the lives of others, have a supportive personality and a strong work ethic. No previous experience is required, as we will train the right people.
Job requirements include a valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and the ability to transport individuals in services safely. Candidates must have the ability to work in a Human Service setting with favorable background screens.
We offer flexible and traditional work schedules for either full or part time positions. If you are able to work one day a weekend, you can potentially work 3 days a week and have full time benefits.
