Role Description The Regional Director of Operations is a full-time, hybrid role based in Grand Rapids, MI, with flexibility for some work-from-home. This role oversees the operational performance of multiple senior living communities, ensuring compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and quality-of-care expectations. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring key performance indicators, guiding community leadership teams, managing budgets, and supporting occupancy and revenue goals. The Regional Director of Operations collaborates closely with executive leadership to implement strategic initiatives, standardize best practices, and drive operational efficiency across the region. The role also involves regular on-site visits, coaching community leaders, resolving escalated resident and family concerns, and fostering a culture of service, accountability, and continuous improvement.

- Proven Team Management capabilities, including coaching, mentoring, and developing community leadership teams.
- Experience with Budgeting, financial planning, and cost control to support sustainable growth and performance.
- Commitment to high-quality Customer Service, with a focus on resident satisfaction, family engagement, and service recovery.
- Relevant experience in senior living, long-term care, or healthcare operations management is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and conflict resolution skills across diverse stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Gerontology, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Ability to travel regularly within the region and work in a hybrid model from Grand Rapids, MI.
