Wellness Coordinator

The Wellness Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring our residents receive exceptional, personalized care while supporting the daily operations of our Wellness Department. This individual works closely with the Wellness Director to coordinate resident care, supervise care staff, maintain appropriate staffing levels, and ensure compliance with community policies and applicable state regulations.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader who demonstrates sound judgment, accountability, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced assisted living and memory care environment.

This is a hands-on leadership position that requires flexibility, dependability, and a willingness to step in wherever needed to support our residents and team.

The Wellness Coordinator is expected to demonstrate the following qualities:

Accountability: Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and follow through without repeated reminders.

Dependability: Maintain consistent attendance, fulfill scheduling commitments, and respond when needed.

Initiative: Identify concerns and proactively address them rather than waiting for direction.

Compassion: Treat residents, families, and coworkers with kindness, patience, and respect.

Professionalism: Maintain appropriate boundaries, confidentiality, and a positive workplace environment.

Teamwork: Support the Wellness Director, fellow department leaders, and frontline employees in achieving shared goals.

Flexibility: Recognize that senior living is a 24-hour operation and that leadership responsibilities may occasionally require additional hours or unexpected schedule changes.

This is a full-time leadership position with a regular schedule established by the Wellness Director and Executive Director.

The Wellness Coordinator must be willing and able to adjust work hours as operational needs require. Occasional evenings, weekends, holidays, and additional hours may be necessary.

Mandatory participation in the on-call rotation is a condition of employment. Inability or unwillingness to fulfill this requirement may affect eligibility for the position.
