Assistant Store Manager

Cardinal Rental & Sales is seeking an Assistant Store Manager who brings calm, structure, and dependable follow-through to daily operations. This position supports the Store Manager and plays a key role in keeping the store running smoothly, accurately, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in organizing and directing daily operations
• Provide clear, professional customer service in person and by phone.
• Prepare accurate rental contracts and handle all related paperwork and documentation
• Use our rental software to verify availability, check rates, and manage reservations
• Serve as the acting manager when the Store Manager is off-site
• Provide clear, calm direction to the team when the pace picks up
• Saturday morning availability required

Minimum Requirements

• 2 years of experience in customer service, rental, retail, or operations
• Ability to lead with calm authority
• Strong organizational and follow-through skills
• Comfortable handling multiple responsibilities without chaos
• Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs
• Competence with computers, phones, and basic systems
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Pay: $55,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
