Position Status: Full-Time Flex
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, days vary
Locations: Clayton, Raleigh, and Wake Forest
JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Radiology Medical Director, the MRI Technologist will:
- Perform routine to complex MRI procedures and produce quality images for interpretation by a licensed provider.
- Provide safe, high-quality patient care while following established guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with the imaging center team to provide a positive experience for our patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and team members.

Requirements
EXPERIENCE:
- Up to 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist preferred.
EDUCATION:
- Must have a minimum associate's degree in Radiology or be a graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography and maintain current, valid ARRT registration.
- Must hold an advanced registration in MRI through ARRT or obtain it within the first 12 months of employment.
- Must meet applicable state licensure requirements for the state in which they practice.
- BLS certification is required within 60 days of hire.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of routine to complex MRI procedures and protocols.
- Skill in operating MRI equipment and applicable ancillary equipment.
- Ability to work independently and multitask.
- Ability to provide accurate and concise documentation.
- Understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, radiopharmacology, and medical terminology.
- Knowledge of computer applications, including information and billing systems, keyboard input, digital archiving, and data retrieval.
