Skills and abilities:
- Able to communicate calmly with teenagers (not escalate).
- Comfortable working in a school culture (teachers, admin, parents).
- Reliable and stable (no no-shows; consistent presence).
- Willing to use verbal de-escalation first, not physical force.
- Ability to obtain the necessary clearances to work in a school
What you’ll do:
- Support a safe learning environment by monitoring hallways and common areas
- Help de-escalate student conflicts under the guidance of experienced supervisors
- Work closely with school administrators and counselors
- Document incidents and contribute to school safety planning
