**Security Officer - Vehicle Patrol**

Join our team as a **Security Officer** and play a vital role in ensuring the security of a construction site. As part of our team, you'll perform access control, routine foot patrols, ensure protection of our client's assets, monitor property access, and maintain a secure environment while upholding the standards of Cardinal Point Security Group.

• Pay:** $18.00 per hour

Schedule

Shift is 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM - weekend work will be required. Availability to work on the weekend as scheduled is a requirement

Duties & Responsibilities

• **Be an Ambassador for Cardinal Point Security Group**: Be punctual and professional, maintain a sharp appearance in proper uniform, stay engaged and provide consistent, reliable service.
• **Access Control**: Man, and monitor entrances and exits
• **Foot Patrol**: Perform thorough foot patrols as required by the assignment.
• **Route Schedule**: Follow a set patrol route via foot or vehicle and adhere to the schedule.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or suspicious activity, following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of patrols, incidents, and activities.
• Collaborate with on-site management and emergency services as needed
  
  

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security experience; prior experience in a related field is preferred.
• Driving Experience: Minimum five years of driving experience with no infractions.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Background Requirements**:
• Completion of State and Federal criminal background checks.
• No felony or misdemeanor convictions involving moral turpitude.
• Must be able to pass a mandatory drug screen
• Skills**:
• Strong observational and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and effective under pressure.
• Physical Requirements**:
• Capability to operate a vehicle for extended periods of time.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking and standing during patrols.
