This is a high-trust safety position, not a generic post, designed for the Quiet Professional who can balance tactical readiness with calm mentorship, sound judgment, and restraint.
Location: West Chester, PA
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Shift:
Monday through Friday – 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM
Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday morning services as required

Training, Support, & Growth
- Specific training (de-escalation, adolescent interaction, threat detection)
- Direct mentorship from experienced supervisors
- Support with clearances and compliance requirements
The Mission
Serve as a trusted safety partner in a religious environment, maintaining a safe, calm, and violence-free campus while building credibility with visitors, staff, and administrators. Strong officers project confidence without fear, de-escalate conflict early, stay composed under pressure, and respond decisively when required.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain a professional presence and conduct proactive campus patrols
- Use calm verbal de-escalation to manage conflicts and disruptions
- Act as a capable first responder during emergencies
- Build professional relationships while maintaining clear boundaries
- Write clear, factual incident reports and support operational excellence
Requirements
- Minimum five years of Armed Security experience
- Military, or law enforcement, or armed school security experience is required
- PA Act 235 Certification and PA Concealed Carry Permit
- Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and professional demeanor
- No disqualifying criminal history
Preferred
- CPR/First Aid/AED
