Forensic Exam Program Coordinator (Registered Nurse)

Location: Yukon, OK (On-site)

About the Role

The Forensic Exam Program Coordinator is a full-time, on-site position based in Yukon, Oklahoma. This role is ideal for a Registered Nurse who is passionate about trauma-informed care and multidisciplinary collaboration.


This position leads the development, coordination, and day-to-day operations of the Forensic Exam Program at Cardinal Point. The Coordinator works closely with medical providers, law enforcement, advocacy partners, and community stakeholders to ensure survivors have access to compassionate, timely, and coordinated forensic services.


This role combines program development, clinical coordination, and community collaboration in a unique and meaningful way.


Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation, development, and implementation of the Forensic Exam Program

• Support the development and coordination of SANE and DVNE policies, practices, and procedures

• Coordinate and/or conduct forensic exams and strangulation assessments as appropriate

• Provide administrative call coverage and support program operations

• Coordinate forensic nurse recruitment, training, scheduling, and documentation

• Serve as a liaison between hospitals, law enforcement, prosecutors, advocacy programs, and partner agencies

• Maintain accurate documentation, track program data, and support reporting and evaluation

• Provide education and training to community partners on forensic services and best practices

• Support outreach, awareness, and community engagement efforts


Qualifications

• Strong program coordination, development, and organizational skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across disciplines

• Experience in healthcare, victim services, social services, or criminal justice settings preferred

• Ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and collaborative relationships

• Strong attention to detail and comfort with documentation and data tracking

• Commitment to trauma-informed, survivor-centered practices

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries


Minimum Requirements

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN)

• Willingness to obtain SANE-A and DVNE certification

• Experience in forensic nursing, sexual assault response, domestic violence, law enforcement, or victim advocacy preferred

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to navigate complex and sensitive situations with professionalism and care

• Must pass and maintain a favorable background check

• Valid Oklahoma driver’s license and current automobile insurance

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
