Job Summary
This full-time Personal Injury Paralegal position will assist Cardinal North attorneys and other support staff with delivering top-quality services to our clients while upholding the firm’s core values of Integrity, Transparency, and Accountability. In addition to our core values, we foster an environment built on teachability and mentorship. We expect all employees, from the firm owners to the entry-level staff members, to be open to learning new ideas and methods and, eventually, to teaching and building up others. This role requires knowledge and understanding of civil litigation practice.
Specific Responsibilities
· Manage client files and case progression
· Communicate with clients, witnesses, experts, court staff, and opposing counsels’ staff
· Review client files, including medical records and bills, expert opinions, emergency call records, witness statements, deposition transcripts, etc.
· Compose initial drafts of civil practice documents including letters or representation, medical records requests, demand outlines, summons and complaints, and letter/email correspondences to clients, witnesses, opposing counsel, etc.
· File and serve pleadings
· Calendar pre-litigation and litigation deadlines
Qualifications
· 3 years of paralegal experience in civil litigation
· Knowledge of electronic filing systems and basic law firm technology/software (e.g., Microsoft Office applications and case management software)
· Authorized to work in the United States

Working Conditions
· $25-$35 per hour
· Full-time; overtime eligible
· In-office required; Spokane, WA
