Landscape Supervisor/Project Manager
The Landscape Installation Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing landscape construction and installation projects from start to finish. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to design specifications while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of landscape installation projects, including site preparation, planting, irrigation, hardscaping, and Project Closeouts
- Coordinate crews, subcontractors, materials, and equipment to ensure efficient workflow
- Review project plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure accurate execution
- Develop project schedules and monitor progress to meet deadlines
- Communicate with clients, designers, and stakeholders to provide updates and resolve issues
- Conduct site visits to ensure quality control and compliance with design and safety standards
- Identify and mitigate project risks or delays
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and environmental guidelines
- Train and supervise crew members and foremen
Qualifications
- 3–7 years of experience in landscape construction or project management
- Strong knowledge of landscaping techniques, plant materials, irrigation systems, and hardscape installation
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret landscape design plans and blueprints
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., scheduling and Aspire Software)
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- OSHA certification or safety training
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Ability to walk job sites, lift materials (up to 50 lbs), and operate or oversee equipment use
- Occasional extended hours or weekends based on project timelines
