Required Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess financial data and address complex issues.
• Verbal and written communication skills – presenting financials, reports, supervising
• Organized, attention to detail
• Trustworthiness, integrity, and the ability to handle confidential information

Experience

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Minimum of three years of relevant accounting or finance experience (does not need to be trade specific)
• Experience doing reconciliation, month end closes, balance sheet schedules, budget preparation, financial analysis
• Experience in preparing annual audit reports and understanding compliance and internal controls
• A thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Proficiency in accounting software, Intacct preferred, but Sage, QuickBooks, Acumatica, or another software is okay
• Advanced skills in Excel – vlookups, pivot tables, what-if statements, conditional formatting, charts
