Habilitation Aide at our WATCH Program
Cardinal Hayes Home for Children is seeking a Habilitation Aide !
As the Habilitation Aide, you will provide transportation, daily care, training, supervision, and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a Day Habilitation/ Prevocational Day Program. This includes hands-on physical care and/or assistance with activities of daily living, and implementing teaching programs, behavior plans, and habilitation plans to help individuals accomplish their program goals.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8 am – 4 pm
Qualifications:
- High school diploma is desired
- Experience with working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
- Must have the physical ability to perform physical interventions if necessary
- Valid driver's license is required
- Minimal proficiency in speaking, writing, and reading English

Responsibilities:
- Develop a positive relationship/rapport with individuals receiving services
- Provide physical care, including toileting, assisting with hygiene and feeding, and observing health status
- Implement training programs and promote development toward independence
- Provide recreational and social development activities
- Collect and record data accurately and timely
- Ensure health and safety of individuals
- Provide a clean and orderly physical environment
- Attend trainings and staff meetings
