Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in our assisted living, long-term care facilities. Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding to ensure proper nutrition
- Support residents with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning and sanitation practices
- Observe and report any changes in residents’ health or behavior to healthcare professionals or supervisors
Qualifications
- Prior experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or hospice care preferred
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities, autism, or dementia is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required for resident transfers or mobility assistance
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work compassionately with diverse populations
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and residents’ families
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; experience working in assisted living or long-term care environments is advantageous
