Cardinal FG - Mooresville is a world class manufacturing facility., We produce flat glass that is primarily used for residential windows.
Cardinal FG - Mooresville, is a team-based facility and currently has openings for Production Technicians. Our facility located in Mooresville, is a safety sensitive, clean and temperature- controlled environment.

- The jobs of a Production Technician include the following : Glass Handler - packs glass onto racks; Automation Line Operator - operates and monitors the automation / robot equipment;
- Driver - operates powered industrial vehicles safely moving racks of glass; Closing Inspector - verifies that the glass meets customer specifications;
Closer - closes racks of glass using various packing materials; Set Up - prepares empty racks for production glass orders.
- Requirements : High School Diploma or Equivalent; Ability to read write and communicate in English; Tape measure reading and basic math skills;
- Basic computer skills and the ability to navigate on a computer in a windows - based environment; Ability to safely lift pounds;
- Desire to work in s team environment; Manufacturing experience preferred, A two day orientation and several training shifts are provided;
- Pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen;
Cardinal FG offers a -hour rotating shift schedule with weeks on days and weeks on nights including every other weekend.
The starting wage is $ on days and $ on nights. Wage increases at year and years based on successful performance evaluations.
There are paid holidays, vacation and float time. There is a monthly profit-sharing plan, K retirement plan, health and dental insurance, company paid life insurance and a Health Savings Account with employer contribution match.
The profit-sharing plan can pay a lump sum and an amount into the K monthly. If the profit sharing is calculated into a dollar per hour equivalent, the equivalent can be an additional $ to $ per hour the first year.
