Primary Responsibilities
Monday - Friday: 5:30am - 5:30pm
***Shifts can run up to 12 hours each day***

Description
Cardinal CT in Mount Airy has a full time production & manufacturing opening for a Glass Tempering Technician.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manually Lift up to 50LBS. of raw material, finished products, and/or pack items repetitively in a fast paced production environment.
- Mark or tag identification on glass products.
- Inspect glass for visual / and or material defects as well as quality specification tolerances.
- Observe equipment operations, make minor tool adjustments, or notify operators, leads, or maintenance of any malfunctions.
- Operate machinery used in the production process, or assist machine operators.
- Record product information using measuring tapes, record sheets, spreadsheets, & quality software.
- Understand product & machine workflows to properly load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances.
- Follow 5S procedures to maintain an orderly, safe, and clean work environment.
- Count finished products to determine if product orders are complete.
- Cross train into a minimum of three areas of production.
- Communicate pertinent information to co-workers, supervisors, & management.
- Complete all other tasks as required.
- Respect for each co-worker.
- Regular Attendance as outlined in attendance policy.
- Ability to work in a team environment and use good judgment.
